Also fun: the Miele tech analyzing every one of our past wash cycles and declaring himself impressed that it has run almost every night for 5 years. "Most places with a fancy Miele like that, they never actually use it."

The technician had fun figuring out what to do. He added an hour to our drying time, et voila. Dishwasher now runs from midnight to 5am, and it works like a charm.
